Training Information

Training for Little Athletics, which is suitable for children between 5 and 9, is from 7:00pm to 8:00pm on Mondays at the track.  For further information on Little Athletics from Athletics Ireland click here.

The winter training schedule will commence on October 17th. 

Juvenile Athletes up to age 12  train on Monday evenings at 7.30pm in the ARCH, Athy.  

Training for Cross Country Athletes and Athletes aged 13 and above will continue on Monday & Wednesday nights at the track between 7pm and 8pm.  

The following disciplines are covered by our coaches:
Sprinting events: 60m, 80m, 100m, 200m, and 400m

Middle distance events: 800m, 1,500m

Long distance events: Cross Country

Throws: Javelin, Hammer, Discus and Shot Putt

Jumping events: Long Jump, High Jump
